Kids triathlon to be held in June

The third annual Daniel Island Kids Triathlon for ages 7-14 will be held at Pierce Park Pavilion on Daniel Island on June 21.

The cost is $30.

Athletes will compete in the three triathlon events of swimming, biking and running. For more, contact Will Rishovd at 216-6366 or rishovdw@ci.charleston.sc.us.

Mt. P. to host youth track meet

The Mount Pleasant Track Club has invited youth track and field teams from across the Charleston area to participate in the fifth annual Mount Pleasant Youth Developmental Track Meet at 9 a.m. May 31.

The event is to be held at the Park West track facility. Entry deadline is May 29.

Athletes compete in six age divisions based on USATF guidelines. Entry forms are at www.townofmountpleasant.com. Entry fees are $1. Visit www.mptrackclub.com or call Jay Rhodes at 856-6076 or jrhodes@townof mountpleasant.com.

Wando boosters plan golf event

The Wando All Sports Booster Club is taking registration for its 22nd annual Kickoff Golf Tournament on June 4 at Charleston National Golf Course at 1 p.m.

The cost is $100 per person. Entry forms and checks are due by May 30.

Soccer teams sought for 3v3 Challenge

The Lowcountry 3v3 Challenge is looking for youth soccer teams for its tournament to be held June 7-8 at Charleston Southern University.

The tournament is for boys and girls in age divisions that range from Under-6 through U18. The cost is $175 per team and the deadline is May 25.
