Bullock leads 208-player field for City AmateurStaff report

Defending champion Thomas Bullock leads the 208-player field vying for the Charleston City Amateur golf championship, which runs today through Sunday at Municipal Golf Course. Tee times begin at 7:30 a.m. and continue through 2:30 p.m. off both the first and 10th tees. Thomas Bullock captured last year's event with a final-round 4-under-par 68 for a 205 total and a two-shot win over five-time City Amateur winner Bert Atkinson. Other past champions in the City Amateur field in addition to Bullock and Atkinson are six-time winner Frank Ford III, two-time champion Chris Pinckney and D McCollum. The field also includes 2007 City Senior champion Warren Peper and City Four-Ball winners Tim Tang and Mike Cobb. Tee time information is available online at charlestoncity.info/golf. |
