LADSON —
A man was stabbed in the parking lot of the Piggly Wiggly on S.C. 78 in Ladson about 5:30 a.m. Monday, said Dan Moon, public information officer for the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office. The victim, whose injuries weren’t life-threatening, then got into his car and drove into the car of the man who had stabbed him. As the man who allegedly stabbed him began to drive away, the victim fired shots at his car, a brown Toyota Camry, Moon said.
Anyone who has information on the Camry should call the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office at 719-4465, Moon said. The car has some damage from the crash and may also have bullet holes, he said.
The Sheriff’s Office isn’t yet releasing name of the victim, he said. The investigation is ongoing.
