The around-the-world rally to honor the famed 1908 global race is back on, with one change. Now it's The Great Race 2009: New York to Paris. Organizers last month postponed the event because they lost permission for the 40 or so teams, including one from Charleston, to pass through China, which is hosting the Summer Olympics this year. The new schedule has teams start in New York April 25, 2009, and finish at the Eiffel Tower in Paris 65 days later on June 28.
