DARLINGTON — The Dodge Challenger 500 is a sellout, Darlington Raceway's fourth straight since its Sprint Cup event was moved to Mother's Day weekend.
The raceway was on the endangered list of tracks that might lose all their NASCAR races five years ago with dwindling fan interest. But track owner International Speedway Corp. has since added lights and a new, 6,300-seat grandstand.
