South Carolina 10, Wofford 5

SPARTANBURG— Whit Merrifield and DeAngelo Mack each had three hits to lead South Carolina over Wofford.

All nine starters for the Gamecocks (34-15) had at least one hit. South Carolina finished the game with 16 hits.

Mack, Reese Havens, James Darnell and Harley Lail each drove in two runs for the Gamecocks.

Michael Gilmartin had three of the nine hits for the Terriers (21-29), while Mo Seay drove in two runs with a double in the eighth.

Gamecocks starter Sam Dyson (6-0) allowed one run on four hits in five innings to get the win.

Wofford starter Jordan Mickleberry (3-3) allowed eight runs on 11 hits over three innings to pick up the loss

Glad to see that we can finally win without the long ball.
I know its Wofford, but hopefully Carolina can keep up the good hitting and decent pitching for a long stretch into the post-season. I hope the Tigers put together a run as well and make it to regionals. I know they were swept over the weekend, but FSU is amazing. Clemson seems to be coming around a little of late. I have to say that the ACC probably has the 3 best teams in the nation this year.
