Confederate Memorial Day event May 10Thursday, May 8, 2008
The annual Confederate Memorial Day observance will be held at 10 a.m. May 10 at the Confederate Cemetery on Carr Street between Pitt and Royall streets, in Mount Pleasant's Old Village. Sponsored by the Confederate Memorial Association, Camp 27 of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans and the Christ Church Parish Preservation Society, the short program honors those who served in the Civil War who were from Christ Church Parish, Mount Pleasant. |
