UMPIRES NEEDED: Moncks Corner Recreation is looking for baseball/softball umpires who are willing to work one or two nights a week, Monday-Thursday. Anyone interested should call Ralph Jones at 834-1960. Two games are played each evening. Would like the individual to have some experience as a plate umpire.

SOFTBALL UMPIRES: Lowcountry Officials Assn. is seeking people interested in umpiring slow pitch softball in the North Charleston area. A rule and mechanics clinic will be held 2 p.m. on Mar. 30 at Park Circle. Contact Will Hamm 200-3071 or Henry Hill 553-4067 for more information.

13U CAROLINA AVALANCHE BASEBALL TRYOUTS: The 13U Carolina Avalanche baseball team is currently holding individual tryouts to fill roster vacancies. PRO LEVEL SPORTS SPECIALIZED HITTING CLINIC: USC-Beaufort Head Baseball Coach Rick Sofield, will be the instructor. Sofield is a former Major League player and instructor and has worked as a special instructor for several Major League clubs. Camp designed specifically for players ages 12-18.
