Cougars' Fojo to play for country

State Report Justin Fojo, a freshman with the College of Charleston men's soccer team, has been invited to participate with the Trinidad and Tobago national team, which hosts El Salvador in a friendly tonight in Macoya. Fojo, who holds a 3.9 GPA at Charleston, has been training with the team since Friday. He was noticed back in 2006 after attending a camp hosted by the team in North Carolina. --Former College of Charleston goalkeeper Corbin Waller has signed with Major League Soccer's two-time defending champion Houston Dynamo, the school announced. Waller, from High Point, N.C., played in 18 games this past season for the Cougars, starting 17. He recorded 80 saves and had a 0.82 goals against average. Waller helped the Cougars to a 13-4-1 record, including a 6-1-0 Southern Conference mark. USC football Due to weather concerns, the Gamecocks' football practice scheduled for today has been postponed. The tentative schedule for the remainder of the week includes a 4:15 p.m. practice Friday and a 10 a.m. practice Saturday. CALGA Tori Langen of Seabrook shot 80 to take field low gross honors in the Charleston Area Ladies Golf Association tournament held Tuesday at Coosaw Creek.
