Dawson SUMMERVILLE — A potential candidate for state Senate trying to get on the November ballot pulled his petition from stores after Republicans threatened a boycott. Former newspaper publisher Bill Collins announced earlier this month that he was collecting signatures to run against former Sen. Mike Rose as an independent in November. Rose defeated Sen. Randy Scott in the Republican primary. Collins said he would join the Republican caucus if he wins the election. He then announced several locations where people could sign the petition, including Mr. K's Piggly Wiggly on Cedar Street. Some Republicans started urging people not to shop at any place that had one of Collins' petitions. They were motivated by a resolution the Dorchester County Republican Party's executive committee unanimously passed urging Republicans to oppose the petition by "all legal and ethical means." The resolution urged opposition "by all means possible" before some party leaders said that was too much and toned it down. Party Chairman Arthur Bryngelson said there was no organized effort to force the Piggly Wiggly to remove the petition, but he had heard party members talking about not shopping there as long as the petition was there. "That would be a logical application" of the resolution, he said. "It's free commerce." Jean Wise of Summerville, a longtime Republican, said she had heard Republicans urging people not to shop at stores that had the petition. "I am ashamed of the Republican Party and have decided to become an independent," she said. Collins said he saw e-mails urging people to boycott stores with the petition but didn't want to talk more about it. The petition was no longer at the Piggly Wiggly on Thursday. An employee said she didn't know why it was removed. Corporate officials did not return a phone call. Collins opened an office for people to sign the petition last weekend. It's at 141 E. 1st North St., which is off North Main Street behind Simmons Barber Shop. "I can't imagine the Republican Party is threatened by a grass-roots effort," Collins said. "It doesn't sound like a democracy to me. All anybody is doing by signing this petition is giving me a chance to be on the ballot." State Party Chairman Katon Dawson urged county Republicans to keep fighting the petition. "Bill Collins had the same opportunity to seek the Republican nomination as Senators Scott and Rose did, but chose not to run," Dawson said in a June 23 letter to Bryngelson. "We are opposed to the petition candidacy of Bill Collins and any other petition candidate who would run against a duly nominated Republican candidate." Collins said he didn't run in the primary because he supported Scott. "The people have asked me to run now because they wanted another choice." Collins needs to give the State Election Commission 3,155 signatures of registered voters by July 15 to get on the ballot. |

Hey, Larry, Moe, and CURLY ..guess what? Do you have GUTS to answer TOUGH questions? Well, do you punks? (Clint) Do you read this newspaper and listen to the Morning Buzz? Do you know that Mayor Summey doesn't? Do you know that your trash is ENERGY to be sold back through the Power Grid using plasma machines found at www.startech.net? Do you know that we have 18 landfills and 3.5 MILLION Tons of trash that can be SOLD for TAX revenue instead of coming to US taxpayers?
While you 3 are fighting over a BAR of soap in the SHOWER, guess what 3.5 Million tons of ENERGY will power...I highly suggest you....yes YOU 3 ..google SKYTRAN and have a VISION from GOD.
1)You have a Bees Ferry landfill ticking time bomb on your hands....do you even know this? Do you take out the TRASH?
2)You have a school funding revenue ticking time bomb on your hands...do you know this? Do you know Jim (T-REX)REX?
3)You have an incinerator contract and kickback ticking time bomb on your hands.....do you know this??
4) You have a major road and infrastructure ticking time bomb on your hands ....are you going to try to PAVE your way to HEAVEN?? Do you even sit in I-26 traffic? Have you ever been to San diego or L.A.?? Do you even have a CLUE what makes CAROLINA different? Don't feel BAD....OUR state's Newspapers don't either! (fist ...pounds, pounds, POUNDS loudly!)
5) Do you realize that GE makes wind turbines right here in OUR state? Do we have any windfarms? ONE? I ..highly suggest you go to www.superturbine.net and LEARN....something? Do you know we have WIND?? Come on out to Folly and I'll show you some WIND. It won't come from my backside or mouth either. Do you know that we have SHIEKS fly into OUR state to buy our turbines but have not one WINDFARM to show him?? YOU DO NOW... musketeers!!
6) Do you see TEAMWORK in this STATE? Look real hard. NO!!
If you did see TEAMWORK..would you see a PLAN? .. No !!!

7) What are your specific plans...specifics?? Timetables? Team members? EMAIL and cell phone numbers??
8) State Party Chairman DAWSON....what are YOU doing ...WHAT?? Playiing puppetmaster? Waiting in line like McCAIN?? You need to get more of a VOICE than trying to keep your chicks in a ROW.
9) Do you three KNOW what the number 9 ...MEANS ?? Your "9" LIVES are UP.........

YOU ..yes you need to find the worst couch you can find on the side of the road and take a picture of IT. Are you with me? Find yourself the worst pick-up truck you can find...if you can't find one..I'm sure Johnny over at Johnny's Suzuki can help you find ONE!! Get in that truck and have a handyCAM recording it all. Then drive on over to that couch on the side of the road and PICK IT UP....all by yourself. Don't get some intern to help you. We need to see you EARN it. COMPRENDE'?? Then drive on down to the city square there in SUMMERVILLE and pull that couch out and guess what...TAKE A PICTURE...spanky! Get a couple of signs taped up with DUCT tape that you make by yourself...by your own HANDS. Get you a whistle at the five and dime down there too while you are at it and start talking to some people. How many people drive by there in ONE DAY??? Next ...drive on out to the fair grounds and guess what...take a picture and handyCAM video of your escapades. HEAVEN knows that live 5 or tv 2 or the Post and Carlos won't be there to report it. Call into the ROCKY D show and CRY....I mean BALL! Tell the people of the lowcountry that NO one LOVEs you? If they don't let you on AIR?? SO what...get a website and upload this crap. If not and your that frugal...get a laptop and burn some CD's to drop off at every coffee shop and bathroom in every truckstop and diner you get into. My lord ...do you want me to be your campaign manager????
Heck...put that couch out on the side of the highway at every major intersection and WAVE. Don't think this will work...SANFORD slept on a couch in DC and he is a pretty good Governor! Heck ...maybe you and Colleen Condon can have some Coffee time to display some TEAMWORK in this State. She has coffee with Colleen on thursday mornings..I highly suggest you get over there next Thursday morning with that couch on the sidewalk to talk with her and the people who SHOW UP!! Some people from SUMMERVILLE may just wander in? At least you will show that you listen to other South Carolinians...or do you?

Justices....this Laura Hart attorney needs direction. Well... I'll give her some.! Mrs. Hart...yes YOU! Stop wasting this courts time and get on a good pair of running shoes and have a SUMMIT. That right...SUMMIT of all County Council Chairpersons in this whole state. You young lady need to take these officials to ..COURT! The whole LOT. Why you ask? Well..I'm going to tell YOU.

Mrs. Hart do you realize that this funding issue boils down to ENERGY.....ENERGY?! The cost to run our infrastructure and busses. These county councils do not work as a team and actually inhibit new technology because of the money coming around their backsides. New technology that generates tax REVENUE to fund OUR schools. Mrs. Hart ..You have been seriously played like a FOOL! Mrs. Hart....do you know that your TRASH is ENERGY to be sold for tax revenue? Not to be sent to a landfill to be tapped for cheap METHANE for a business; which results in our landfills never being closed down...PERIOD.! Go to www.startech.net and read. The electricity can be sold for tax revenue, the hydrogen can be sold or USED in BUSSES (just like they are in Florida), Heavy metals to recycled for a tax revenue stream, and silica sand to be sold. Kids and taxpayers are both getting the shaft from the very people we elect to lead US. If the fools had any vision or ounce of teamwork they would realize they could power there own statewide elevated mass transit bussing system using the 3.5 million tons of trash to POWER it. These problems MRS HART (and to ALL that read this) is teamwork. The answer Mrs Hart to our school systems problems starts with our TRASH and tapping all forms of energy OUR state is blessed with. Mrs. Hart...H ll hath no fury like a woman SCORNED...are you mad yet?? Do you REALLY CARE?? Where is your local landfill?? How is it benefitting YOU or your children?? HOW? (fist POUNDS!) You will see our problem in this state when I send this to every newspaper in the state...it WON'T be PRINTED at all. It should be on the FRONT PAGE!! They won't because it is the truth about SOLUTIONS to the very problem you were up there blowing air to the JUDGES about. The cost of education on rural school systems...well Mrs. Hart...have your team of interns pull up the fuel costs of these 36 counties for bussing...both school and transit. You will lose your SKIRT......and hopefully GAIN perspective, backbone, VISION......and one H ll of a BACKBONE.

Collins should not be let into the Republican party, he just wants to be part of the majority so he can get campaign cash, pork and get re-elected. No to Collins. Wait four years and then have at it in the Republican Primary.

To any and everyone who is not a Rose a-- kisser -
If you want to sign the petition for Mr Collins, you can do so at 125 Orangeburg Rd. Just off Dorchester Rd. I will be there on Saturday from 11am till 2pm and weekdays from 9am till 5pm. Signs will be posted. Now Mr. Rose - boycott me.
If you need directions, just call my cell at 494-2204. If I'm not there I will be happy to meet you so you can sign it.
