Man dies in crash with 18-wheeler
Thursday, June 26, 2008
BONNEAU — A man was killed at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when his pickup truck skidded into the path of an 18-wheeler on U.S. Highway 52, the S.C. Highway Patrol said. Berkeley County Coroner Glenn Rhoad identified the man as Timothy Marshal of Bonneau. Marshal was in his 40s and lived on the road where he died, Rhoad said. Marshal was driving a Ford F350 south on Canady Branch Road and pulling a trailer loaded with a forklift, Cpl. Paul Brouthers said. Marshal couldn't stop for a stop sign, and the truck skidded into the path of an 18-wheeler driven by Mark Eudy, 36, of Albemarle, N.C., Brouthers said. Eudy was going west on U.S. 52.

Just because you're driving a super-duty, it doesn't give you super powers. The truck must have been travelling too fast for conditions if he wasn't able to stop at a clearly marked sign. My condolences to the family for their loss, but he could have saved his own life if he wasn't speeding.
I think we should also pray for Mr. Eudy's family. He'll have to live with being Godwin's agent.
