Battery's Patterson suspended for one game

Charleston Battery striker Randi Patterson was suspended for one game and will miss Friday night’s match-up with the Minnesota Thunder at Blackbaud Stadium.
Patterson, who is second in the USL First Division in goals (6) and points (12), was suspended by the USL First Division after getting issued a red card in the Battery’s 1-0 loss to the Montreal Impact this past Friday night.
Patterson and Montreal defender Adam Braz were both issued red cards after an altercation in the 88th minute. Patterson and Braz became entangle during a free kick just inside the 18-yard box and wrestled briefly before being separated by teammates.
Braz also received a one-game suspension by the league.
The Battery is in second place in the USL First Division with a record of 6-3-2 (20 points).
