The North Charleston and American LaFrance Fire Museum and Educational Center will offer free admission Wednesday to mark the one-year anniversary of the deadly Sofa Super Store fire in West Ashley. The museum, located at 4975 Centre Pointe Drive in North Charleston, is suspending admission fees on that day to honor the nine city of Charleston firefighters who were killed in the blaze at the Savannah Highway store. The museum exhibits an array of one-of-a-kind antique firetrucks in its 27,000-square-foot building near the Tanger Outlet Center. For more information, call 843-740-5550 or visit the museum's Web site, www. legacyofheroes.org.
