A third suspect wanted in connection with a string of robberies in North Charleston surrendered to authorities this afternoon. Joshua Andrew Monroe, 19, of North Charleston, is charged with kidnapping in Monday's attempted robbery at the Chuck E. Cheese on Rivers Avenue. He is expected to have a bond hearing at 2 p.m. Friday. Additional charges are possible, said Spencer Pryor, police public information officer. Bandits followed a Chuck E. Cheese employee home Monday night, kidnapped him and took him back to the restaurant. They stunned him with a stun gun, threatened his life and left him tied up when he couldn't open the safe. Other recent robbery locations include the Applebee's and Frankie's Fun Park, both on Ashley Phosphate Road, the Rivers Avenue Applebee's, the Red Lobster on Mall Drive and the Noisy Oyster on Rivers Avenue, where one employee was sexually assaulted. Police earlier this week arrested Bryan Mulligan, 19, of Charleston, and Monroe's cousin, Corey Larkin, 18, of North Charleston. They face multiple charges in connection with the Chuck E. Cheese incident. Police said there might be more suspects in the case. The investigation continues.
