Charleston County Sheriff’s Office officials are asking for the public’s help in finding three men who escaped from the Charleston County Detention Center campus Saturday.
Two, who were being held on second-degree burglary charges, went missing after working a shift in the main detention center’s kitchen and a third man living at the work release facility failed to return.
The men who escaped are David Earl Evans, 39, described as a white male standing 6 feet tall; David James Speight, 30, described as a white male standing 6 feet 2 inches tall.
Julius Clinton Barfield, 35, who is described as a white male standing 5 feet 8 inches tall, left the work release facility Saturday and did not return.
Anyone with information on the men should call Crimestoppers at 554-1111.

Why two articles on the same subject?
It seems like that happens quite often on the online edition of the PnC.
Of course the other article has the mugshots, and this one doesn't. Updates?
