Brina, just know that you and your family are being thought of during this difficult time. I pray that they find the person that did this and punish them severely. It just sickens me that someone would hit another human being (a child at that) and then leave them to die. Sad!
My sincere condolences to the family. How terrible to deal with this. I would not know how to go on with the death of my child. God be with this family. My prayers are with you. BUT I have to say it... Why was this 9 yr.old child out walking the street at this hour? It didn't say if an adult was with them or not in the article. The P&C writer sure left out alot of important information that the public would like to know. Maybe on purpose as to give people something to post about on here. Whoever you are; that hit and killed this child of GOD, you know you did it. your car has to have damage on the front end. YOU WILL BE FOUND OUT! TURN YOURSELF IN NOW! God forgive your soul and God give this family resolution and JUSTICE!
Brina68... May God bless you, and Help you through this painful time. I will prayer for you and your family. And hope they get this animal. I hope he will be prosecuted to the fullest God Bless you.

Why was this 9 yr.old child out walking the street at this hour?
My sincere condolences to the family. Ladson Road is a 4 lane Highway with a center turning lane. Typical speeds on the Highway is usally 50 and above. Yes much more detail is needed here.
Whomever the suspect, (s)he ran because: 1. illegal, 2. unlicensed, 3. ininsured, 4. leaving the scene of a previous crime, 5. a tee on a cell phone, or 6. just doesn't give a damn thanks to years of indoctrination by left wing liberal democrats who cannot stand to have their children taught manners, morals, ethics or anything else that vaguely resembles religion.
As I read all of the comments posted about this tragic accident that my family has suffered, I have one question that I would like to pose, why are we focusing on the age of the child and the circumstances and not on the fact that this a**hole is still on the streets waiting on the next child to hit?
Losing Tyler has hurt my family in a way that will never be repaired. This accident could have happened in broad daylight. The fact is if you stop after you hit someone it is an accident, this person ran so now this is a manslaughter case. If anyone can help in finding the person who did this, please come forward. Thank you

My condolences to the family for their loss. Hopefully they will find out who commited the hit-and-run.
But what was a 9 year old doing on Ladson Road unsupervised? And at night??? This is a major thoroughfare.
I agree more detail is needed.

This is very sad. His sister was on TV last night and I really did want to cry after she asked the person to hit her brother to turn themselves in.
