Man suspected of murder sought

Tuesday, July 8, 2008

Charleston police have identified a man wanted in a June 14 fatal shooting on the city's East Side and are seeking him on a murder warrant.

Joshua Silas Robinson is suspected of killing Earl Rogers at America and Amherst streets, said Charles Francis, police public information officer. Robinson, 25, is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 165 pounds, according to a wanted flier. His last known address was on Calvert Street in North Charleston.

Rogers, 36, was shot around midnight and died within an hour of being taken to Medical University Hospital, authorities said earlier.

They need to bulldoze that area of town and separate the criminals there. This is probably the highest crime area in Charleston

Where is the picture of the guy they are looking for? I can't identify him if I see him if I don't know what he looks like.

We are selling each other out big time. Some of us black people should join the KKK as much as we seem to like killing each other. The ignorance has got to stop and it has to start with us black men. Pick up a book and put down the gun. we are shaming our ancestors who once had no rights. now that we have rights, we don't know what to do with it. During the days of slavery a black man could be killed for knowing how to read. now a black man will kill you if you try and teach him how to read. we need to be embarrass because that's exactly what we are doing every time a black man dies by the hand of another black man. it has become cool to be a fool. then when we find ourselves old men sleeping under a bridge, we want to blame everyone else but ourselves.
