Patty Caughman has joined Glasspro Inc. as accounts payable representative. Previously she worked in accounts payable for Magnolia Health Systems and was a project coordinator for Scarlett Associates.

Building supply

Christopher Gadsden has joined Port City Glass & Mirror as a manager in the residential department. He has more than 14 years of experience in residential and commercial construction in the Charleston area, and previously owned Coastal Houseworks LLC.

Financial

Christina Abney, Derek Lewis, Crystal Henson and Caroline Pelletier have joined Lighthouse Financial LLC of Mount Pleasant.

Abney is team leader. She has 10 years of experience in management and nine years in financial services.

Lewis is a wealth plan design specialist. Previously he worked in corporate and public accounting. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Clemson University and a master's degree in taxation from the University of South Carolina.

Henson is an operations associate. Previously she worked for four years in client service and integrated processing for large corporations. She holds a bachelor's degree from Georgia Southern University.

Pelletier is director of first impressions. She is a senior business administration major at the College of Charleston.

Austin Atkinson has joined 360 Financial Partners LLC as an investment professional. Previously he worked for Merrill Lynch and UBS Financial Services. He is a graduate of The Citadel.

Fitness

Malachy Friedman and John Alderman have joined GrandChampMMA in West Ashley. Friedman is a mixed martial arts and Muay Thai boxing instructor. Alderman is lead MMA conditioning trainer.

Law

Robert E. Sumner has joined the Charleston office of Moore & Van Allen PLLC. Previously he practiced defense of hospitals, medical providers and other professionals.

Media

Rich Fowler has been promoted to general manager of VarnerMiller LLC, a Mount Pleasant-based developer of training materials,.

He joined the company in 2006 as a project manager.

He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Winthrop University and is a graduate business administration student at The Citadel.

Medical

Jeffery R. Bennett and Johnny P. Campbell have joined Roper Radiologists PA as diagnostic radiologists.

Bennett holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Emory University and a medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine, and completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at Duke University.

Campbell holds a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston; a medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina; completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Florida Health Science Center, where he was chief resident; and completed a fellowship in cross sectional imaging at the University of North Carolina.

Matthew Murrin has joined the Mount Pleasant office of Boca Raton, Fla.-based ChiropracticUSA. He holds a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and a master's degree from the University of New Brunswick and is a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College. He practiced for several years in Indianapolis.

Patty Wagner has joined Sea Isle Spine Center Inc. of Mount Pleasant as practice manager. Previously she was a nurse in a medical practice and an office manager for a dental lab and a dental office.

Nonprofit

Megan Kerley has joined the Roper St. Francis Foundation as director of annual giving. She has more than seven years of experience in philanthropy, most recently as associate director of annual giving for The Citadel Foundation. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a master's degree in English from The Citadel and the College of Charleston.

Real estate

Champ Smith has joined McAlister Preferred Properties Inc. of Mount Pleasant as a residential sales agent. He has three years of experience in real estate sales.

Garrett Barber has joined the East Cooper office of

William Means Real Estate. She has more than 15 years of experience in real estate and previously worked for Bissell Hayes Realtors in Charlotte. She holds a bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Georgia.

David Starner has joined the Mount Pleasant office of Beautiful Homes Realty of Charleston. He has worked in real estate in the Mount Pleasant area for three years and previously worked in food and beverage in Wild Dunes and Isle of Palms. He is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University.

Larry Collett has joined the Broad Street office of Carolina One Real Estate. He is also interactive media director for WCBD-TV and previously was Web production manager for Evening Post Publishing Co. 's Charleston.net.

Retail

Mark Bily has joined Catch Some Air LLC, the parent company of the Air kiteboarding and Earth skateboarding shops in Mount Pleasant, as vice president of operations. Previously he worked for Bluegreen Resorts and Clear Channel Communications.

Telecommunications

Shelley Hundley Campbell, William Hiller, Jennifer Miskew, Jamie Randolph, Ayobami Stevens and Michael Uggiano have been promoted to supervisor at the Verizon Wireless call center in North Charleston.

Crystal Brown, Taylour Calcutt, Lacee Harris, Angie Rivera and Tiffany Taylor have joined TeleTech Corp. , also known as Call Experts, as call center representatives. They have been trained as telephone operators.
