Air Force squadron bound for overseas

A squadron from Charleston Air Force Base left Wednesday night for a deployment in support of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. About 130 airmen are bound for an undisclosed location in Asia. They will fly missions in and out of the two Middle Eastern countries for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. The squadron they are replacing could be home as early as next week.
