Legare Farms CSA: Legare Farms on Johns Island is adding 25 more shares for the fall season of its Community Supported Agriculture program. Buyers receive a weekly or monthly basket of produce and farm products. The fall shares are $180 for 10 weeks of vegetables. Summerville Kitchen Tour: Ten homes and gardens in Summerville's Sumter Avenue area and gourmet goodies from Lowcountry chefs will be featured as part of the sixth annual Scrumptious Summerville Kitchen Tour on Oct. 12. Local musicians also will perform at each location, and the work of local florists will be on display. Proceeds benefit Children in Crisis, which operates Dorchester Children's Center to help abused and neglected children and their families. Admission to a Designer Show House at the historic "Teacherage," 127 West 5th South St., is included with a Kitchen Tour ticket on Oct. 12 only. The show house, which shows off the furnishing styles of local interior designers, will remain open until Nov. 1, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
