Some of the most creative residential designs from 12 Charleston architectural firms will be showcased at the Custom Home + Remodel Show on Aug. 22-24. The architecture exhibit is sponsored by Charleston Home + Design Magazine and the Charleston Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The Architects' Gallery of Custom Homes, as the exhibit is called, will include thousands of photographs and descriptions of finished homes. The gallery will be on the third floor of the show, which will be held Aug. 22-24 at the Gaillard Auditorium. Images of the residences will be displayed on large television monitors for easy viewing, and the architects who designed the homes will be available for questions. More than 100 vendors who sell custom-home products, many of which were used in the homes to be featured, will be at the show as well. The participating architecture firms include Camens Architectural Group, Christopher Rose Architects, Cobb Architects, Stephen Herlong & Associates, LFK Architects, Red Charrette Architects, R.L. Moutz Architecture, Rosenblum Coe Architects, Schmitt Walker Architects, Spivey & Woods Architects, Thomas & Denzinger Architects and Wayne Windham Architect. Show hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 22 with the Kitchens, Baths and All That Jazz Party 7-10 p.m. The show continues 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 23 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 24. The $7 admission fee includes the Architects' Gallery. Tickets for the All That Jazz Party are $15 and are available during show hours the Gaillard.
