Trophy Case

Monday, August 4, 2008

Tideline is proud to bring you “Trophy Case,” a partnership with The Post and Courier newspaper featuring the best staff and reader-submitted fishing photographs from the Lowcountry and beyond.

Allen Gray

Allen “Boo” Gray caught the essence of offshore fishing with this shot of a blue marlin, estimated to weigh between 500 and 600 pounds, that he and crew members recently caught aboard his 28-foot Scout near the Edisto Banks. The fish was hooked on a Shimano TLD30, and four anglers fought the fish before it was brought to the boat and released.
