Florida-based chain Beef O'Brady's recently opened a franchise in the Belle Hall Shopping Center and three months into their venture, the bar/restaurant has already attracted a loyal clientele. According to manager Treci Bennett, Beef O' Brady's attracts customers who appreciate "more of a casual atmosphere." After my visit there is no doubt that the place is indeed laid back. For starters, Beef O'Brady's is pet-friendly, and pet lovers in the area are welcome to bring their dogs or cats along so long as they remain in the patio area. Beef O'Brady's is also family friendly, but more importantly, specifically kid friendly, featuring a game room for children. Parents wanting to take a break from the kids to enjoy some adult time can do so carefree from the privacy of their booth (each booth has its own personal TV) as Beef O' Brady's has a specific channel that monitors the children's game room. Beef O' Brady's is very spacious, has a very large bar, has over 30 TVs featuring every major sports package, and even has TVs installed in the restrooms to insure that a touchdown or a home run won't missed because of a bathroom break. A private party room is also available. The menu item that Beef O' Brady's is most known for is their chicken wings (they sell their own "secret sauce" by the bottle). The place also offer multiple sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads. You won't find bourbon or brandy at the bar at Beef O' Brady's, but you will find a great selection of beer and wine, including interesting and unique brews like "Left Hand," which manager Bennett describes as a "Colorado milk stout." The family friendly franchise also makes a point of investing in the community, as Beef O' Brady's currently sponsors eight local little league teams. "We have a reputation for being very community oriented" adds Bennett, and the community surrounding Belle Hall in Mount Pleasant will no doubt continue to benefit from their newest neighbor in Beef O' Brady's.
