SHRImpIN' N SHAGGIN': This Lowcountry event combines two of Charleston's most loved traditions: eating mouth-watering shrimp dishes and dancing to favorite shag tunes old and new performed by The Men of Distinction and East Coast Party Band. Tickets are $10 at the door or can be purchased in advance for $9 with your Bi-Lo Bonus Card at Charleston area Bi-Lo stores. monday night concert: The Monday Night Concert Series at the College of Charleston's School of the Arts will present a performance by alumnus Enrique Bernardo. The program will include works by Beethoven, Chopin, Enrique Iturriaga and Alberto Ginastera. Aging In Place: An aging in place program presented by the South Carolina Aging in Place Coalition will cover topics such as healthy living, livable residences, financial and legal issues, supportive relationships and transportation. 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Mount Pleasant Regional Library, 1133 Mathis Ferry Road. book discussion: "Renaissance Woman," Zora Neale Hurston. A discussion of the woman, the author and the book that defined her legacy. "THE GREAT WINE DEBATE": Hosted by Woodlands Resort & Inn. Guests can sample some of the world's finest wines from divergent continents. The cost is $125 per person, exclusive of tax. The tasting begins at 6:30 p.m. and the four-course pairing dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. Woodlands Resort & Inn, 125 Parsons Road, Summerville. Specialty Beer Dinner: The fourth in a series of specialty beer dinners with guru Scott Shor. charleston coffee roasters: Learn about exotic coffees from around the world and experience the excitement of roasting firsthand at regular monthly tastings and tours. boat show: The Boat's on the House in-the-water boat and new home show at River Reach Pointe on the Wando River. cSo GOSPEL CHOIR: "African-American Sacred Songs." Featuring new Director Glenn R. Nixon. ChazzFest: A celebration of music, food and culture of the American South. Capoeira Family Workshop: Learn about the spirit of cultural heritage, folk tales and music in this workshop that allows families to play music, sing and dance. FALL GARDEN TOUR: The Charleston Horticultural Society will present its annual garden tour "Gardens for Gardeners." Held rain or shine, the tour will consist of nine private gardens in Mount Pleasant. All proceeds from the tour benefit educational programs of the Charleston Horticultural Society, a nonprofit organization. AUDITIONS FOR "PETER PAN": The Flowertown Players' Lee A. Barrett Children's Theater will hold open auditions for ages 8-18 for "Peter Pan" by J.M. Barrie, directed by Charmaine Wozniak.
