Ending school right with a list of goals The end of the school year is a milestone to celebrate and an opportunity to encourage children to reflect on what they've learned while dreaming up the goals they'd like to reach for next year. Educator Susan V. Bosak, who is chair of the national Legacy Project (www.legacyproject.org), an education initiative, has some ideas to help parents and teachers end the school year right: --Encourage children to make a Top 10 list of the best memories. --Work together to set summer reading goals. --Use the Legacy Project's "Ladder to the Stars" to help children identify the steps to achieve a goal. --Use the Dreamer Profile to help children explore whether they're a creative, dynamic or practical dreamer.
