Battery faces Wilmington on Saturday in final preseason matchPosted 01:21 p.m., April 4, 2008 Just a quick little update: The Battery plays its final pre season game on Saturday at Blackbaud Stadium against the Wilmington Hammerheads, a USL Second Division team. Kick off is set for 2 p.m. Talked with midfielder/defender Chris Corcoran this morning. He’s having a tough preseason. He injured his groin early in camp, then recovered from that and now is having Achilles tendon issues. He’s going through physical therapy right now and getting some help from Frank Santangelo, the all-knowing PT guru. Chris isn’t sure when he’ll be ready to train again. See you on the Pitch, APM |

To Corcoran: Heal well(no pun intended)...the team needs your engine, and your calm capability...I look forward to seeing you play soon!!
